把英文书读懂读透,我用这套“万能题”教孩子做原版精读!

阅读是人类进步的阶梯,也是学习外语最直接的途径。

这些年我们在阅读的路上前进了一大步,越来越多的父母关心和重视孩子的阅读。于是,“阅读能力的培养”、“如何深度阅读”、“怎么测试阅读能力”等等,也成了大家关心和学习的焦点。

为啥?因为大家都抱有同一个疑惑:阅读,就只是单纯的读书吗?

多数经验告诉我们,单纯阅读不是不行,但不是最能发挥效能的一种阅读方式。

这就解释了,为啥咱们在学校要通过各类考题来完成对学习的总结和提升了。

说了这么多,其实就是为了推荐给各位一些欧美国家学校常用的“万能题”,学校的老师也会常用这些问题给孩子做测试。

家长们可利用这些问题,在孩子阅读过后做一个简单的“家庭测验”,既能了解孩子阅读后对书里内容的理解程度,又可以从侧面督促孩子,读书时要认真,不要囫囵吞枣。

试题分为虚构类和非虚构类,家长可根据书的内容删减部分试题。

虚构类

1.What does the main character/characters learn in this story?

故事的主人公是谁?

2.What character do like the most in your book? Why?

你最喜欢书中的哪个人物,为什么?

3.What do you predict will happen next in the story? What information in the text helped you make that prediction?

你预测故事接下来会发生什么?文字中的哪些信息帮助你做出了这样的预测?

4.What is the main problem of the story? If you know, how was the problem solved?

故事的主要冲突是什么? 若是你知道,那么这个冲突是如何解决的?

5.What is the setting of the story? How do you know?

故事的背景是什么?你是怎么知道的?

6.What was your favorite part of this story? Why?

这个故事中你最喜欢的部分是什么?为什么?

7.Who is the main character? Describe him/her using three adjectives/character traits.

谁是主角?用三个形容词(或人物特点)来描述他/她。

8.What lesson did you learn from this story? Explan.

从这个故事中,你学到了什么?来讲一讲。

9.Is there anything you would change about the story? What is it?

书中有你想要去修改的地方吗?具体讲一讲。

10.Would you like to be a character in this story? Why or why not?

你想成为这个故事中的角色吗?为什么?

11.How do you feel about the story? Would you recommend it to someone else? Why or why not?

你是怎样看待这个故事的?你会把它推荐给别人吗?为什么?

12.Summarize what you read today. What were the most important events? Did you learn anything new about the characters?

总结一下今天你阅读的内容。书中最重要的事件是什么?关于书中的角色,你对他们有什么新的了解?

13.What is the story mainly about?

这则故事主要是在讲什么?

14.What was your favorite part of this story? Why?

这个故事中你最喜欢的部分是什么?为什么?

15.If you were the author, what would you change in the story?Why would you make that change?

如果你是作者,那么你会对故事进行哪些修改?为什么要做这样的修改?

16.Is what you read believable ?Why or why not?

你所读的内容是可信的吗?为什么?

非虚构类

1.What is the selection you read mainly about?

你所读的部分,它的主旨大意是什么?

2.What did you learn while reading?

在阅读时,你学到了什么?

3.Why did the author probably write the selection? How do you know?

为什么作者会写这一部分?你是怎么知道的?

4.What was the main idea of what you read? What were the supporting details that told you more about the main idea?

你所读的部分,它的主旨大意是什么?哪些支撑细节让你得到了这样的结论?

5.How and where could you find out more information about the topic read about today?

关于今天所阅读的主题,你会怎么去寻找,在哪里寻找更多的相关信息?

6.What else would you like to know about the topic you read about?

关于今天所阅读的主题,你还想知道其他相关的内容吗?

7.What did you find interesting about this selection?

这段选文有什么有意思的地方?

9.What do you remember most about the selection you read?

这段选文让你印象最深刻的地方是什么?

10.Did you find an interesting word in this selection? What was it? Use a dictionary to find out its meaning and write a sentence of your own using the interesting word that you found.

你在这段选文中发现了什么有意思的词?它是什么?用词典查出它的含义,并用它造句。

在美国,这种阅读后测试的方法,一般从G3(三年级)开始,更小的孩子还是建议快乐阅读,把培养兴趣放在首位。
