刚刚过去的2020年，是极不平凡、极为艰辛的一年。面对百年不遇的新冠肺炎疫情考验，全区上下众志成城、风雨兼程，用心灵温暖心灵、用感动传递感动、用激情点燃激情，守住了本土确诊病例的“零记录”，跑出了经济恢复的“加速度”，取得了“双统筹”工作的重大成果，谱写了金湾改革发展史上的又一壮阔篇章。全年地区生产总值实现700.40亿元、增长2.9％，产业发展、新城建设、乡村振兴、民生事业等领域捷报频传、喜讯连连，“十三五”规划圆满收官，全面建成小康社会胜利在望。这些成绩来之不易，是全区人民团结奋斗、努力拼搏的结果，每一位金湾人都在用劳动成就梦想、用平凡书写伟大，每一位金湾人都在用自己的方式为金湾改革发展添砖加瓦，以涓滴之力汇聚磅礴伟力。你们就是这个时代的最美奋斗者，区委、区政府向你们表示衷心的感谢，并致以崇高的敬意！
2021年是中国共产党成立100周年和“十四五”开局之年，也是金湾区与珠海经济技术开发区实行一体化运作的起步之年和金湾建区20周年。新的一年，我们迎来的不仅仅是又一个春秋轮回，更是充满机遇和挑战的新起点，让我们重整行装再出发，以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，加快建设全市产业中心、交通中心、城市新中心，奋力打造粤港澳大湾区战略性新兴产业重要增长极、珠江口西岸海陆空核心交通枢纽和经济特区活力品质幸福新城，推动“十四五”开好局、起好步。
当前，疫情防控形势依然严峻。为了保护您和身边人的身体健康，我们倡议您春节期间尽量减少出行和聚集，加强个人防护，为疫情防控贡献一份力量！对于响应号召留金过大年的广大群众，欢迎你们春节期间到金湖公园、三板水乡、木头冲鹤道花海、珠海海泉湾度假区、台创园、平塘河等地游玩参观，区委、区政府将竭力为你们提供全方位服务和保障，确保全区人民度过一个欢乐祥和平安健康的春节。在此，也向那些春节期间仍将坚守岗位、守护平安的劳动者致敬，感谢你们以“小家”的暂别成全了“大家”的团聚。

Chinese New Year Greetings from Jinwan

Dear Jinwan citizens and friends,
On the occasion of the Chinese New Year of Ox, CPC Jinwan Committee and Jinwan Government extend to you the most sincere greetings and best wishes!
Year 2020 was an eventful and hard time for us all. Despite the severe test of the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, we have managed to overcome difficulties and keep our homeland zero record in local infection. Economic recovery has been seen while we focused on the pandemic control, making extraordinary breakthroughs in the history of Jinwan.
Year 2020 saw a local GDP of RMB70.040 billion, with an increase of 2.9%. We have made outstanding achievements in areas of industry growth, new town development, rural revitalization, and people’s livelihood. All the goals of 13th five-year plan have been accomplished and a moderately developed society is around the corner.
All these achievements cannot be made without your contribution and hard work. Every Jinwan citizen is devoting himself/herself to the bright future of Jinwan. You are the most beautiful contributor to the new era! Please accept heartfelt gratitude and salute from CPC Jinwan Committee and Jinwan Government!
Year 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC, the beginning of the 14th five-year plan, the integration of Jinwan and Zhuhai Economic and Technological Development Area, as well as the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Jinwan District.
The year of Ox is a new beginning full of opportunities and challenges. Let us start from scratch, gear up the building of the centers of industries, transportation and downtown. We are committed to build Jinwan into an important pole of strategic new-type industries in the Greater Bay Area, an all-dimensional transportation hub on the west bank of PRD, and a new town for happy quality life in Zhuhai SEZ.
As the Covid-19 pandemic is still a threat, for the sake of you and your family, we recommend you to minimize your travels and gatherings to ensure personal protection and public health.
For those to stay in Jinwan to celebrate the Chinese New Year, you are welcome to visit local sightseeing such as Jinhu Lake, Sanban Village, Mutouchong Park, the Ocean Hot Spring Resort, the Agricultural Incubator for Taiwan Entrepreneurs and Pingtang River. CPC Jinwan Committee and Jinwan Government are ready to provide best service to visitors.
