李航、梅宏、邢波、俞栋、俞益洲、朱文武等人入选：2022 ACM Fellow公布

新一届 Fellow 中华人学者占比超过两成。

今天凌晨，美国计算机协会 ACM（Association for Computing Machinery）公布了最新一届会士名单。

ACM 创立于 1947 年，是全世界计算机领域影响力最大的专业学术组织之一。

ACM Fellow 是由该组织授予资深会员的荣誉，目的为表彰会员中对于计算机相关领域贡献前 1% 的学者，其审查过程十分严格，每年遴选一次，研究员由同行提名，提名由委员会审查。

本年度新入选科学家中共有 57 人，他们的贡献涉及网络安全、人机交互、移动计算和推荐系统等领域。今年的入选者中包括 13 名华人学者，他们来自北京大学、腾讯、字节跳动等机构和公司。

郭宗杰（Prof. C.-C. Jay Kuo），美国南加州大学（University of Southern California）教授。于 1987 年获得美国麻省理工学院的博士学位，为南加州大学讯号及影像处理研究系的系主任，同时任美国南加州大学工程院，数学院，及电脑科学院的终身教授。郭宗杰院士致力于数字媒体处理、多媒体压缩、通讯网络技术及嵌入式多媒体系统设计等研究领域，为多媒体领域中最为多产的研究学者之一。

字节跳动科技有限公司研究部门负责人

入选理由：为与搜索和对话相关的机器学习技术做出突出贡献。

李航毕业于京都大学，是东京大学博士，曾就职于 NEC 公司中央研究所、微软亚洲研究院、华为技术有限公司诺亚方舟实验室。他的主要研究方向是自然语言处理、信息检索、机器学习、数据挖掘。他还是 ACL Fellow 和 IEEE Fellow，也是《机器学习方法》等书的作者。

滑铁卢大学 David R. Cheriton 计算机科学学院的教授

入选理由：对问答、信息检索和自然语言处理等领域做出突出贡献。

Jimmy Lin 的研究旨在构建可帮助用户理解大量数据的工具，并专注于大规模分布式算法和数据分析基础设施。

入选理由：为软件工程研究做出贡献，并在中国建立了研究标准。

梅宏的研究工作主要涉及软件工程及软件开发环境、软件复用及软件构件技术、（分布）对象技术、软件工业化生产技术及支持系统、新型程序设计语言等。他针对开放网络环境下软件动态适应和在线演化两个核心难题，提出基于微内核的中间件构件化体系结构和基于容器的构件在线组装机制，建立了构件化的软件中间件技术体系与框架。提出基于软件体系结构（SA）的构件化软件开发方法 ABC，拓展 SA 到软件全生命周期，实现了对系统级结构复杂性和一致性的有效控制。

邢波曾任卡耐基梅隆大学计算机科学学院教授，机器学习系副主任，专攻机器学习、计算生物学和统计方法等方向。他与合作者开发了 Petuum 平台利用工作站、分布式计算机、移动设备或嵌入式设备来解决大型机器学习的问题。2016 年 11 月，邢波创立 Petuum 公司，担任 CEO 和首席科学家。2020 年 11 月，邢波成为全球第一所人工智能大学 MBZUAI 校长。

腾讯 AI Lab（人工智能实验室）副主任

入选理由：在语音处理和深度学习应用方面的贡献。

俞栋，腾讯杰出科学家，腾讯 AI Lab 副主任，腾讯优图实验室杰出科学家兼腾讯智能平台部副总经理。IEEE Fellow（国际电气电子工程师学会院士）、ISCA Fellow。俞博士是语音识别与深度学习领域的专家，100 项专利的发明人，多次获得最佳论文奖，深度学习开源软件 CNTK 的发起人和主要作者之一，引领了语音技术领域多项突破性工作，是首次将深度学习技术应用在语音识别领域的研究领头人之一，该成果极大推动了语音识别的技术发展。

香港大学计算机科学系教授

入选理由：对计算机图形学和计算机视觉的贡献

俞益洲是香港大学计算机科学系的全职教授。他博士毕业于加州大学伯克利分校，曾在伊利诺伊大学香槟分校（UIUC）担任 12 年终身教授。俞益洲目前是 IEEE 院士和 ACM 杰出会员。俞教授在人工智能和视觉计算方面做出了重要贡献，包括计算机图形学、计算机视觉、图像处理、医学图像分析和机器学习。他是 2002 年美国国家科学基金会 CAREER 奖、ACCV 2018 年最佳应用论文奖、ACM SCA 2011 年和 2005 年最佳论文奖以及 1998 年微软研究生奖学金的获得者。俞益洲与他人共同发明的技术经常被电影和医疗保健行业采用。他在 AAAI、CVPR、ICCV、MIA、NeurIPS、SIGGRAPH、TIP、TMI、TOG 和 TPAMI 等国际顶级会议和期刊上发表了 100 多篇论文。他目前的研究兴趣包括深度学习、计算机视觉、图像处理、医学人工智能和计算机图形学。

芝加哥大学 Neubauer 计算机科学教授

入选理由：对无线网络和移动计算做出突出贡献。

Haitao (Heather) Zheng 现为芝加哥大学 Neubauer 教授。她于 1999 年在马里兰大学获得电子和计算机工程博士学位。在 2017 年加入芝加哥大学之前，她在业界实验室（贝尔实验室和微软亚洲研究院）工作了 6 年，并在加州大学圣巴巴拉分校工作了 12 年。在芝加哥大学，她与 Ben Y. Zhao 教授共同领导 SAND 实验室（系统、算法、网络和数据方向）。

清华大学计算机系教授

入选理由：对多媒体网络和网络表征的贡献

朱文武是 IEEE Fellow、AAAS Fellow、SPIE Fellow、欧洲科学院院士。他的研究方向主要包括多媒体网络计算、大数据分析等。
