On the afternoon of May 19th, the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 China Liuhua International Fashion Festival (Spring&Summer) and Liuhua Fashion Wholesale Buying Season was held at Liuhua Hotel in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. Three global fashion shows themed “Vibrant Africa”, “Mysterious Middle East”, and “Passionate South America” brought a visual feast to 170 guests present.
It is reported that the fashion festival has attracted customers from nearly 80 countries around the world to come for negotiations.
International fashion shows launch in 9 languages
At the opening ceremony of “Welcome to China Liuhua!”, representatives from 9 markets including Guangzhou Liuhua Fashion Wholesale Market, Kapok International Fashion City, and Guangzhou Changjiang International Clothing City said “Welcome to China Liuhua” in 9 languages including English, French, German, Japanese, and Arabic, welcoming guests from all over the world.
The three performances of this event, namely, “Vibrant Africa”, “Mysterious Middle East”, and “Passionate South America” opened with cheerful African drumbeat. International models have got on the stage to present global fashion, bringing a visual feast of fashion.
Big returns after two years, helping Liuhua open up a global “friend circle”
The organizer introduced that the current China Liuhua International Fashion Festival is a significant comeback after two years, showcasing the strength and vitality of Yuexiu as a “millennium commercial capital” to global merchants.
At the opening ceremony, the Guangzhou Liuhua Global Import Boutique Hall project revealed unique goods from various countries, building a cross-border trade bridge and cultural bond. Meanwhile, this project has been supportedby consulates of various countries in Guangzhou. With the first group of representatives from different countries such as Vietnam, Uganda, Sri Lanka, and Ecuador pressing the button on behalf of their own country, more and more overseas boutiques will gather in Liuhua commercial area.
This fashion festival breaks through the practice of clothing for domestic trade in previous years, and for the first time focuses on foreign trade. The international trade and exchanges around the commercial area are further strengthened by inviting foreign merchants to the market and professional markets to the Canton Fair and combining multiple forms such as market procurement, cross-border e-commerce, and cross-border live streaming, which presents the unique advantages of domestic and international dual circulation of Liuhua fashion commercial area.
It is reported that markets such as Guangzhou Baima Garment Market, Guangzhou Liuhua Fashion Wholesale Market, Xindadi Fashion Plaza, Meidi international procurement center in Canaan, Yulong Fashion Plaza, and Kapok International Fashion City will hold various fashion exhibitions and sales activities in May constantly to promote the high-quality development of the commercial area through diversified business format.
广州越秀：三大主题时装惊艳亮相，流花外贸采购季盛情开启
5月19日下午，2023中国流花国际服装节（春夏）暨流花外贸服装采购季开幕式在广州市越秀区流花宾馆举行。“活力非洲”“神秘中东”“热情南美”三大主题环球时装秀为在场170名嘉宾带来一场视觉盛宴。据介绍，本次服装节吸引了全球近80个国家客商前来采购洽谈。
9种语言开启国际时装秀
“Welcome to China Liuhua!”开幕式上，广州流花服装批发市场、红棉国际时装城、长江国际服装城等9个市场的代表通过英语、法语、德语、日语、阿拉伯语等9种语言，说出“中国流花欢迎您”，广迎四海来客。
欢快的非洲鼓点响起，揭开本次活动“活力非洲”“神秘中东”“热情南美”三大主题表演的序幕。国际模特陆续登台演绎环球时装，带来服装视觉盛宴。
时隔两年重磅回归，流花拓展全球客商“朋友圈”
主办方介绍，本届中国流花国际服装节是历时2年后的重磅回归，向全球客商展示越秀作为“千年商都”的实力与活力。
在本次开幕式上，广州流花寰球进口精品馆项目集中展示了各国特色进口商品，搭建起跨境商贸桥梁与文化纽带。这一项目也得到了各国驻穗领事馆的支持，随着越南、乌干达、斯里兰卡、厄瓜多尔等首批来自不同国家的入驻代表一同按下象征自己国家的按钮，越来越多的海外精品将汇聚到流花商圈。
本次中国流花国际服装节突破往年以“内贸”服装为主的做法，首次以“外贸”服装为重点，通过外国客商进市场，专业市场走进广交会，结合市场采购、跨境电商、跨境直播等多元形式，进一步加强商圈的国际贸易和对外往来，展现了流花服装商圈国内国际双循环的独特优势。
据悉，广州白马服装市场、广州流花服装批发市场、新大地服装城、迦南美地国际采购中心、御龙外贸服装城、红棉国际时装城等多个市场将在5月份持续举办多姿多彩的各类服装展销活动，以丰富业态推动商圈高品质发展。
