On May 23, the 8th Guangdong International Robot & Intelligent Equipment Expo (also referred to as GIRIE Expo) kicked off at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province.
The exhibition covers 40,000 square meters with five exhibition areas. More than 500 famous exhibitors from China, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Sweden and South Korea displayed their new products and solutions, focusing on the advanced manufacturing industry and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the automation and intelligent equipment industries.
This expo has significantly established an electronics manufacturing exhibition area and innovatively created a vertical field exhibition showcasing how is the initiative of "robot +" applied in the 3C electronics manufacturing industry.
For example, Asea Brown Boveri Ltd. brings the IRB1010, ABB's smallest robot, to the exhibition, which can quickly and accurately complete a complex manufacturing process of small and precision components.
Epson (China) Co., Ltd., another famous international brand, will also present several integrated digital and intelligent solutions. Among them, the spectroscopic cameras with Epson 4-Axis Robots in inspection processes can provide professional color inspection for consumer goods, textiles, auto parts and other industries by distinguishing subtle color differences to ensure color consistency and product quality.
Jutze Technology launched AXI, becoming the first Chinese company in its area. At the same time, special robots such as Quadruped Robots by Unitree Technology and exoskeleton robots by ULS Robotics are exhibited at the expo.
In addition, the most advanced automatic production line of electronic manufacturing in the industry is displayed by nearly 100 equipment exhibitors with hundreds of the latest production equipment. The production line is more than 120 meters long and covers an area of about 2,000 square meters. This is also the only production line with the largest, most complete production line with the latest technology among similar exhibitions.
According to reports, the total industrial added value of Dongguan last year reached 625.15 billion yuan, accounting for 55.8% of the city's GDP, of which the output value of the equipment industry exceeded the 500 billion yuan mark, and the output of intelligent robots reached 1.6 million sets.
第八届广东智博会开幕
5月23日，第八届广东国际机器人及智能装备博览会（以下简称“智博会”）在东莞广东现代国际展览中心开幕。
本次展会规模达4万平方米，设有五大精品展区。500多家来自中国、瑞士、德国、日本、丹麦、瑞典、韩国等七个国家和地区的知名展商同台展示新产品、新方案，聚焦先进制造业领域，推动机器人与自动化及智能装备产业转型升级。

ABB集团带来IRB 1010——ABB迄今为止体形最小的机器人，能够快速、准确地完成小型及精密组件的复杂制造工艺。
国际知名品牌爱普生（中国）有限公司还将带来多个数智一体化解决方案。其中，“分光相机微色差颜色检测方案”通过爱普生四轴机器人搭配分光相机可为日用消费品、纺织及汽车零部件等行业提供专业的颜色检测方案，进行细微色差测量，提升出厂产品质量管控与良率。
中国企业矩子科技重磅推出AXI，打破国外垄断。同时，还将有宇树科技发布的四足机器人、傲鲨等携带外骨骼机器人等特种机器人精彩亮相。
此外，展会现场还展示了目前行业最先进的真机展示电子制造无人化生产线，生产线长度超过120米，占地约2000平方米，由现场近百家设备企业提供数百台最新的生产设备集中展示，这也是目前同类展会唯一一家所具有的最完整、规模最大、设备最多、技术最新的生产线。
据介绍，去年东莞的工业增加值总量达6251.51亿元，占全市GDP的55.8%，其中装备产业产值突破5000亿元大关，智能机器人产量达到了160万套。
