On June 13th, in Fenghuang Town, Chao'an District, Chaozhou, the Yangcheng Evening News reporter learned that the town is leveraging the Dangcong tea industry to develop tea culture and tea tourism.
Located in Qipan Village, Fenghuang Town, the Yinghua Qipan Valley is home to well-preserved tea gardens, covering an area of about 200 mu (13.3 hectares). A meticulously constructed plank road runs through the tea gardens, allowing visitors to witness the beauty up close. Additionally, a new 1,270-square-meter tea culture exhibition hall has been built, featuring areas for tea products, tea culture, tea art, and tea garden tour.
Fenghuang Town has also established the Chaozhou Fenghuang Dancong Tea Museum (referred to as the tea museum) - a museum dedicated to the culture of Dangcong tea which was renovated from the Dafu Mansion and Shouxin Temple in Dongxing Village, a provincial-level historical village.
In Chaozhou, Dangcong tea has become a part of daily life. The tea museum focuses on exhibiting Chaozhou Fenghuang Dangcong tea culture and Chaozhougongfu tea culture. It includes eight sections: the Fenghuang Dangcong Tea Culture Museum, the Chaozhou Culture Exhibition Hall, the "Songzhong No.1 Tea" Exhibition Hall, the Dangcong Tea Lifestyle Experience Center, the Dangcong Tea Study and Education Base, the Chaozhou Culture Master's Studio, the Tea Culture Creative Center, and the Tea Paradise. Its centerpiece is a specimen of a nearly 700-year-old tea tree (Songzhong No.1 Tea Tree).
The tea museum also displays various cultural relics and collectables representing Chaozhou Fenghuang Dangcong tea culture, including tea samples, tea utensils, tea-processing tools, calligraphy and paintings, and books, which have been collected or donated by the local community.
Cai Shufeng, Secretary of the Fenghuang Town CPC Committee in Chao'an District, Chaozhou, said that in the future, Fenghuang Town will adopt the "tea + culture" model and organize activities such as cultural exhibitions, research and education programs, and tea art performances. Efforts will be made to establish cultural venues like the She Ethnic Culture Museum and the Culture Square, revitalize 27 revolutionary sites such as the Fenghuang Mountain Revolution Memorial Park, further promoting the development of tea culture and tea tourism.
潮州凤凰：探访连片茶园，感知“茶+文化”融合发展｜高质量发展调研行
6月13日，在广东省潮州市潮安区凤凰镇，羊城晚报记者了解到，当地正在结合单丛茶产业，打造茶文化和茶旅游事业。
樱花棋盘谷位于凤凰镇棋盘村，由棋盘村保存完好的连片茶园组成，交通便利，茶园面积约200亩。记者在这里看到，一条精心修建的栈道在茶园中穿过，游客们可以近距离感受茶园之美。此外，项目还新建1270㎡茶文化展示馆，包含茶产品展销区、茶文化展示间、茶艺体验区、茶园观赏平台等功能布置。
据介绍，凤凰镇还专门打造了一间以单丛茶文化为主题的博物馆——潮州凤凰单丛茶博物馆（以下简称“茶博馆”）。据介绍，茶博馆是利用省级古村落东兴村的大夫第和守信公祠进行翻新改造而来。
在潮州，单丛茶已形成一种日常文化。茶博馆以陈列、展示、交流潮州凤凰单丛茶文化和潮州工夫茶文化为主题，包含凤凰单丛茶文化博物展馆、潮式文化体验展馆、“宋种茶王”陈列馆、单丛茶生活体验中心馆、单丛茶研学教育基地、潮文化“大家”工作室、茶文化文创中心、茶乐园等八大版块。其“镇馆之宝”是一株树龄近700年的“茶王”树标本。
此外，馆内还展示有民间收集或捐赠的茶样、茶具、制茶工具、书画、书籍等代表凤凰单丛茶文化的各类文物和收藏品。
潮州市潮安区凤凰镇镇委书记蔡树丰表示，接下来，凤凰镇将突出“茶+文化”特色，举办文化博览展示、研学教育交流、茶艺展示表演等活动，打造畲族文化馆、文化广场等，盘活凤凰山革命纪念公园等27处红色革命遗址，推动茶文化和茶旅游事业进一步发展。(更多新闻资讯，请关注羊城派 pai.ycwb.com)
