The 13th China International Animation Copyright Fair (ACTIF2023) is about to open. As one of the sub-venues of ACTIF2023, the "Surging Tides – Exhibition of the Art of Designer Toys" of the 2023 Dongguan Contemporary Art Season "Inspiration" kicked off at the Lingnan Art Museum on the afternoon of July 18th and will continue until August 20th.
Inspiration sparks when designer toys encounter art. It is understood that this exhibition showcases designer toys not only from Dongguan, the "Capital of Art Toys in China", but also from other cities, leading the audience into the world of contemporary trendy art. At the opening ceremony, many parents brought their children to rush to see the exhibition. Colorful and unique designer toys have attracted many visitors to take photos.
According to the introduction, this exhibition has gathered 16 IP works provided by 11 designer toy companies and artists from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Dongguan and other cities. The exhibits include traditional handicrafts with Lingnan cultural characteristics, as well as modern trendy artworks such as cartoon toys of popular culture.
The exhibited designer toys have the characteristics of different companies. ARTJI, Puzheng Art, and Tiantuo Culture cleverly combine traditional Chinese culture with modern elements, showcasing the unique artistic charm of trendy art. LIOHTOY, TOYCITY, Xuanman Club, and Sunnyworks feature both Lingnan culture and popular cartoon images. MB Toys, Zombies Cat, and Good Design integrate cool and cute elements into designer toys, showcasing a unique style.
According to Chen Xiangbo, Chief Planner of the exhibition, he "hopes to activate the public cultural space of Dongguan city through this exhibition, showcasing the contemporary vitality of the city and empowering the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry with culture." Also, Dongguan's vibrant urban atmosphere and strong demand for trendy culture continue to boost the booming development of the designer toy industry, which also promotes the transformation of the manufacturing industry and the growth of new consumption trends.
酷玩广东丨潮玩与艺术擦出火花，东莞“潮起潮涌——潮玩艺术展”开幕
第十三届中国国际动漫博览会开幕在即，作为本届漫博会分会场之一，7月18日下午，“2023东莞·当代艺术季灵感的现场之‘潮起潮涌——潮玩艺术展’”在岭南美术馆拉开帷幕，展览将持续至8月20日。
当潮玩与艺术相遇，灵感与火花四溅。据了解，本次展览汇聚了“中国潮玩之都”东莞及其他城市的潮玩精品，引领观众走进当代潮流艺术的世界。开幕式现场，许多家长已经带着孩子在抢“鲜”观展，色彩斑斓、设计独特的潮玩艺术品引来许多人驻足拍照。
据介绍，本次潮玩展征集了深圳、广州、中山、惠州、东莞等地11家潮玩企业和艺术家提供的16个IP作品，既包含岭南文化特色的传统手工艺品，也有以流行文化为主题的卡通玩具等现代潮流艺术品。
现场的潮玩艺术品各具特色，如ARTJI、浦正艺术和天拓文创将传统文化与现代元素巧妙结合，展现出潮玩独特的艺术魅力；俐噢玩具、TOYCITY、绚漫社和晴光玩具的潮玩，既有岭南文化特色，也有时尚流行文化的卡通形象；漫博潮玩、魔鬼猫、好好设计将炫酷、萌动的潮玩形象融入潮流元素，展现出独特的流行风格。
“希望通过此次艺术展览激活东莞城市公共文化空间，展现城市的当代活力，以文化赋能制造业高质量发展。”本次展览的总策划陈湘波表示，东莞充满活力的城市气质和对潮流文化的旺盛需求，持续为东莞潮玩产业蓬勃发展提供动力，同时推动潮玩赋能制造业转型和新业态消费增长。(更多新闻资讯，请关注羊城派 pai.ycwb.com)
