鳌山和顶棚梁均位于陕西省宝鸡市太白县，鳌山古称垂山、武功山，中隔西跑马梁与拔仙台东西遥遥相望，又称西太白，主峰海拔3476米，最高峰麦秸岭海拔为3520米，是太白境内秦岭第二独立高峰。
Aoshan Mountain and Dingpeng Liang, both located in Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. Aoshan Mountain was formerly known as Chuishan and Wugong Mountain. Separated by Xipaomaliang from Ba Xiantai, it is also called West Taibai. The main peak has an elevation of 3,476 meters, and the highest peak, Maijieling, has an elevation of 3,520 meters, making it the second independent peak in the Qinling Mountains within the territory of Taibai.
顶棚梁海拔3404米，这里有秦岭大断崖奇观，它属于太白鳌山大梁的支脉，向西可直达鳌山主峰，向东则延伸至太白拔仙台，两者在秦岭群山中都是鹤立鸡群，它们高高在上，要攀登此山，没有一定的体力和经验是望尘莫及。
Dingpeng Liang has an elevation of 3,404 meters.There is a spectacular sight of the Qinling Great Cliff here. It belongs to the branch of the Taibai Peak. To the west, it leads directly to the main peak of the Taibai Peak, and to the east, it extends to the Taibai Baxiantai. Both are outstanding among the Qinling mountains, towering high above. Climbing these mountains requires a certain level of physical strength and experience.
每年的六月底七月初，海拔3400米以上的秦岭脊梁，正是花开时节，大花碎米荠、东方草莓、五脉绿绒蒿、点地梅、金莲花、波叶大黄、萝蒂、高山紫宛、球穗蓼等多种花争奇斗艳，在大风中犹如做健身操的精灵们左右摇摆，这样的“空中花篮”，人间少见，令人陶醉。
Every year at the end of June and beginning of July, above 3400 meters in the Qinling Mountain Range, it's the time when flowers bloom. Various flowers such as Large-flowered Stellera, Wild Strawberry, Meconopsis quintuplinervia regel, Androsace umbellata, globeflower, rheum hotaoense, Lloydia serotina，Aster alpinus，Polygonum and many more compete for attention. Fluttering in the strong wind, they sway like elves doing gymnastics. Such an "airborne flower basket" is rare on Earth, enchanting anyone who sees it.
在鳌山、顶棚梁，除了自然景观之外，两山之间还有一座十分简单，没有供奉的药王庙，在枯燥的“天际线上”行走，可以找到一点人文归属。
In the Aoshan Mountain and Dingpengliang areas, apart from the natural landscape, there is a very simple, uncrafted Medicine King Temple between the two mountains. Walking on the dry "skyline," you can find a sense of human belonging.
另一处则是鳌山之顶在2021年9月才建成的秦岭鳌山气象观测站，据介绍，这处观测站具有八大功能，集自动采集温度、湿度、风向、风速、气压、雨量、总辐射和紫外辐射观测要素，同时具有360度视频实时监控功能，是陕西气象现代化服务秦岭生态保护与修复的重要体现。
At another location, the meteorological observation station on the top of Aoshan Mountain in the Qinling Mountains, completed in September 2021, is said to have eight major functions.
