Zhang Boheng Wins Hunan's First Medal at Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Team China, led by Changsha-born athlete Zhang Boheng, won the silver medal in the men's team artistic gymnastics final at the Paris Olympics on the early morning of July 30, Beijing time, with a total score of 259.062. This marked Hunan's first medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Zhang Boheng, a leading athlete of Team China from Hunan Province, delivered an excellent performance during his first Olympic Games. He finished first both in the men's all-around and horizontal bar qualifying events at the gymnastics competition of the Paris Olympics.
In the men's team final, Team China consisted of Zhang Boheng, Zou Jingyuan, Xiao Ruoteng, Liu Yang, and Su Weide.
Later on, Zhang Boheng will compete in the following four events:
--men's all-round final at 23:30 on July 31;
--men's floor exercise final at 21:30 on August 3;
--men's parallel bars final at 17:45 on August 5; and,
--men's horizontal bar final at 19:30 on August 5.
