一直以来，实蝇虫害都是困扰我国千万果农的难题。十年前，还在湖南农业大学读研的莫博程开始了实蝇害虫防控技术的研究，随后又继续攻读植物病虫害防治研究方向博士学位。
The infestation of fruit flies is a problem for millions of fruit farmers in China. Ten years ago, Mo Bocheng, who was pursuing a master's degree at Hunan Agricultural University, began researching pest control techniques for fruit flies. Later, he continued to pursue a doctoral degree in plant pest control research.
求学期间，他带领团队经过长期潜心研究，自主研发出了一款绿色环保的果蔬通用诱蝇球——“橘灯笼”。不仅实现了实蝇虫害的有效防控，助力果农实现增产增收，也让他从实验室走上了科技助农兴农的创业之路。2017年2月，莫博程带领团队注册成立湖南橘友生物科技有限公司，如今，“橘灯笼”覆盖应用到了全国16个省区市，至今已帮助农民减少实蝇类虫害经济损失超20亿元。
During his studies, he led a team through long-term intensive research to independently develop an environmentally friendly fly-luring ball for fruit and vegetables, the "Orange Lantern". Not only has it achieved effective prevention and control of fruit flies and helped fruit farmers to increase yield and income, but it has also led him to embark on an entrepreneurial path using technology to promote agriculture. In February 2017, Mo led his team to establish the Hunan Juyou Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Now, the “Orange Lantern” has been applied in 16 provinces, regions and cities across the country, and has helped farmers reduce economic losses caused by fruit flies by more than 2 billion yuan.
