双方需要时间来形成这样一套解决方案。因此，我们呼吁欧盟委员会推迟其所决定措施的实施。
梅赛德斯-奔驰始终支持基于世贸组织规则的自由贸易，包括所有市场参与者应享有同等待遇的原则。
因此，我们紧迫地需要避免影响互惠互利贸易秩序的措施。
We are convinced that countervailing duties impair the competitiveness of an industry in the long term. Free trade and fair competition ensures prosperity, growth, and innovation. We therefore consider that imposing those countervailing duties, as intended by the European Commission, is a mistake that can lead to far-reaching negative consequences.
Now, more than ever, it is crucial that the European Union and China remain engaged in dialogue and reach a negotiated solution that is of mutual interest. We are convinced that there can be such a solution.
The development of such a solution takes time; we therefore call for a postponement of the enforcement of the measures decided by the EU Commission.
Mercedes-Benz supports a liberal trade regulation based on the World Trade Organization rules. This includes the principle that all participants find the same conditions.
However, measures that affect such a trading order which is beneficial to all parties, should be avoided urgently.
