加强国际人文交流倡议
Initiative on Promoting International People-to-people Exchange
国之交在于民相亲，民相亲在于心相通。当前，世界形势面临前所未有的复杂性和不确定性，和谐共存、和平发展变得尤为重要。为深化国际人文交流，增进相互理解和尊重，促进文明互鉴，为全球和平发展贡献智慧和力量，在北京第二外国语学院建校六十周年之际，参加“中外人文交流校长论坛暨全国外语院校协作组第38届年会”的来自10个国家（地区）的25所高校、机构共同发起加强国际人文交流倡议：
The friendship between countries lies in the mutual understanding between their people, and this mutual understanding comes from the connection of hearts. As the world is going through complex changes and uncertainties never seen before, promoting peace and development through peaceful coexistence becomes even more important.
At the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Beijing International Studies University (BISU), the 24 universities and institutions from 10 countries and regions participating at the University Presidents’ Forum on International People-to-People Exchange & the 38th Annual Conference of China Foreign Studies Universities jointly launch the Initiative on Promoting International People-to-people Exchange.
The Initiative is aimed to strengthen international people-to-people exchange, enhance mutual understanding and respect, and promote mutual learning among civilizations to contribute wisdom and strength to world peace and development.
一、加大国际人才交流与培养，塑造具有全球视野和人类情怀的青年一代
I. Greater endeavors shall be put in international interactions on talent cultivation to foster a young generation with a global vision and common values of humanity.
青年是世界的未来。各国高校应加强人才培养交流与模式互鉴，深化多维度合作与交流，共同培养富有理想、面向未来、团结友善的新青年。
The youth is the future of the world. Universities worldwide must communicate more closely about talent cultivation to learn from each other’s models, and strengthen cooperation and exchange on multiple dimensions to co-cultivate idealistic, future-oriented, united and friendly new youth.
二、加强科研合作与交流，从不同文明中寻求智慧，为应对全球性挑战提供思想动力
II. Joint efforts shall be made to strengthen cooperation and exchange in scientific research to draw wisdom from different civilizations and provide intellectual support for tackling global challenges.
积极推动各国高校学术交流与合作，联合举办高质量、高规格国际人文交流活动，实现学术资源和科研成果高效共享，汇聚学术智慧，推动学术创新，形成多层次、多样化的合作机制。
Efforts should be made to promote academic exchange and cooperation among global universities. High-quality, high-level exchange activities can be jointly held to share academic resources and research findings, pool academic strengths, and promote academic innovation to build up multi-level and diverse cooperation mechanisms.
三、共同迎接新兴科技发展机遇，赋能国际人文交流合作，为文明互鉴提供新思维、新空间
III. A stronger commitment is required to empower international people-to-people exchange and cooperation with emerging technologies, providing new ideas and space for cultural mutual learning.
充分利用大数据、人工智能等新兴科技，共建共享开放、包容的国际人文交流资源，塑造人文与数字化融合新形态，助力构建全球文明对话网络。
All universities are encouraged to make full use of emerging technologies, such as big data and AI, to create and share educational resources in an open and inclusive spirit, and blend culture with digitalization to help establish a network of dialogue among civilizations worldwide.
