On Oct. 21, staff members were on duty at the Smart Fire Watch Center in Changsha's Taiping Old Street Historical and Cultural District. On that day, the newly built Changsha Taiping Old Street Smart Fire Platform was officially delivered and put into use. The platform covers 139 merchants on Taiping Street and accesses 410 smart smoke and temperature sensing devices, utilizing Internet of things, big data and cloud computing technologies.
